World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG)– preparing for the Spiritual Academy Awards

The other day I turned on the TV and it was the 87th Academy Awards (Oscars) which looked really fabulous dahling! All the stars were dressed to the nines and everybody looked so amazing. Men were in tuxes, women were in gorgeous dresses (the kind you dream of wearing to an amazing award ceremony), everybody looked fantastic. The night was filled with laughter, tears and so much emotion.

The show opened with a bang as it usually does and the awards ceremony was in full swing. You could feel the amicable/competitive rivalry in the air. Who would get to stand on the stage? Who would win? Who would get the glorious moment when they were handed the golden statue, walk up to the mic and give the coveted ‘Oscar Speech?’ However, this year the most surprising Oscar speech for me was when JK Simmons won the Best supporting Actor award. He briefly thanked the Academy and the movie that he was in, in a short sentence. Then it was what he said after that was surprising. He did not thank the Production company or the directory or even his co-stars but went straight into thanking his wife for her love and most importantly her sacrifice for raising his children and then we went on to say,

“And if I may, ‘Call your mom.’ Everybody, I told this like a billion people or so. Call your mom, call your dad. If you’re lucky enough to have a parent, or two, alive on this planet, call’em. Don’t text, don’t e-mail, call them on the phone, tell them you love them and thank them and listen to them for as long as they want to talk to you. Thank you. Thank you mom and dad.”

A departure from the normal speeches and a breath of fresh air indeed. It got me thinking about what our awards ceremony will be like in heaven.

In the Biblical play, Mother‘s Sacrifice Part 3, after we return to heaven Father Ahnsahnghong will give us an awards ceremony. I can’t even imagine how magnificent everyone’s going to look. All the amazing and angelic robes we will be wearing.

Imagining the scene with the members of World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG)

Just like in the play when Father calls us forward to receive an award we are so overwhelmed, I want to imagine that scene over and over in my head. Although there’s nothing I’m good at, I heard that there are many awards given out in heaven (WMSCOG). Awards for preaching, awards for loving one another, awards for consideration, awards for cleaning…the list goes on and on. So even though I think there’s no reward I can receive, I hope Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother have prepared an award just for me. What could it be? I really have no idea. But just the thought of it gives me shivers up and down my spine. That awards scene in the Biblical play is so tremendous that I’ve seen it sooooo many times I’ve lost count. I can imagine how fantastic everybody will look when they go up to get their award. The thing is, when we go up to get our award, what are we going to say…? I don’t know if I would be able to muster any words at all because I would be so overwhelmed but I do know what we WILL do…

Rev 4:10-11 …They lay their crowns before the throne and say: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power,…”

After that, if I get to stand before Christ Ahnsahnghong and New Jerusalem Heavenly Mother with a spiritual award in my hands, I want to say…

“First I want to give ALL thanks to Christ Ahnsahnghong and New Jerusalem Heavenly Mother…”
