David’s throne and Jesus

Jesus prophesied to reign on David’s throne

Mainstream Christians know the relationship between David’s throne and Jesus’ preaching the gospel. Christians also acknowledge the undeniable relationship between the Second Coming Christ and David’s throne. However, the extent of understanding the prophecies is not-so-much. David’s throne and the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong are inseparable when it comes to prophecy. The people who slander the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) say that Jesus was a descendant of King David, and like Solomon or Rehoboam, Jesus too became a king and the prophecy in Isaiah 9, that states Jesus would rule on David’s throne, was fulfilled in its entirety when Jesus was born.

Was David’s throne completely fulfilled by Jesus at His first coming? Or does Jesus need to come again a second time in order to fulfill  the prophecy?

Those who slander WMSCOG don’t fully understand the prophecies of God’s claim, that Jesus’ ancestry denotes that He completely fulfilled the prophecy of David’s throne. Jesus did come as a descendant of David however that has nothing to do with the prophecy of David’s throne. For example, Jesus is described as a prophet like Moses. Even though he had no relationship with Moses. And Jesus appeared as a high priest in the order of Melchizedek.  However, he had no relation to Melchizedek. Then, did Jesus physically rule over a kingdom the way King Solomon or King Rehoboam did? No. Does the fact that Jesus came as a descendant of David automatically fulfill the prophecy of David’s throne? No, it doesn’t. We have to focus on the prophecy itself.

Jesus reigns on David’s throne

When we confirm the prophecy of David and the fulfillment through Jesus, then we can find the answer. Whether Jesus’ lineage automatically accomplishes the prophecy of David’s throne or not.

Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders…He (Jesus) will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever…

Luke 1:31-32 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.

Jesus is prophesied to reign on David’s throne. David’s throne is the focus of the prophecy. The definition of a throne is the start of a king’s reign and the length of his reign.

Prophetical points of David’s throne and Jesus

2 Samuel 5:4 David was thirty years old when he became king and he reigned for forty years.

At the age of 30, David became king. And he reigned over Judah 40 years. Then Jesus must fulfill these points as well.

Luke 3:21-23 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too…Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry.

Jesus is the prophetical David. David became a physical king at the age of 30 and reigned for 40 years. Also, Jesus’ anointment of spiritual king occurred at the age of 30. Jesus waited till He turned 30 for baptism; anointed as spiritual king as written in the book of Luke. Why would Jesus wait until He was 30? Preaching the gospel to save people is very important! Then, why did Jesus not receive baptism sooner (at the age of 20 or 25)? The reason, to fulfill the prophecy of David’s throne.

Jesus to appear a second time to fulfill David’s throne

How long must Jesus reign for? For 40 years. However, how long did Jesus actually preach for? Just three years (Luke 13:6). The fulfillment of all prophecies, no matter how small, is a must. That means, Jesus has 37 years remaining to fulfill in the prophecy of David’s throne.

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Jesus will appear a second time to fulfill the remaining 37 years left in the prophecy of David’s throne. There is no other prophecy which deals with the age when Jesus began preaching the gospel and time in which He performed it. David’s throne is the only prophecy that deals with these prophetical points.

However, there is no denying the fact that Jesus came as a descendant of David. Jesus’ coming as a descendant of David prophecy is as follows;

Isaiah 11:1 “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit…In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples;”

Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled the remaining 37 years of David’s throne. Christ Ahnsahnghong is Jesus who has appeared a second time. Please receive Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother and  enter the 5th dimensional world!
