All glory to our Heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem for allowing me to be a filial child of God.

This summer which was unprecedentedly hot. So, the news about the Olympic medals from London refreshed us like a shower on a hot summer day. Watching the athletes’ fighting spirit in their respective matches, I could see all their efforts they had made. Among them, the story about an athlete, who won a gold medal in a gymnastics competition, was very inspiring. The athlete said, with the prize money he wanted to buy his parents a new house. That the first thing that he wanted to do as a child fulfilling his filial duty. The fact that he had saved his training expenses, which he had received during the training term, and sent it to his parents for their living expenses, was even more inspiring. His parents always gave him courage and hope even in difficult family circumstances. My heart was filled with a warm feeling while hearing that story.

Fulfillment of the gospel with filial love toward God Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother

His driving force was his extraordinary filial affection for his parents. This enabled him to conquer the gymnastics world with techniques that he himself had developed from a desperate effort. Therefore it is my opinion that we who are running the race of faith toward the kingdom of heaven should have the same mindset. When we throw ourselves completely for the fulfillment of the gospel with filial love toward our Heavenly Parents; God Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother, who always give us courage and strength, a prearranged victory will spread out before our eyes.
