World Mission Society Church of God was awarded the Presidential Citation award on the 20th Marine Day
The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) that believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother (God the Mother) was awarded with the Presidential Citation (Entity Award) on the 20th Marine Day.
The members of the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) were recognized for the efforts of the services they have been devotedly participating in for disaster-relief, which has continued for many years.
This highest honorable group award was given to the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) on the 20th Marine Day which was a meritorious citation and award initiated by the Ministry of Ocean and Fisheries.

Representing the World Mission Society Church of God, General Pastor Joo-cheol Kim receives a presidential award from Yeongseok Kim, the Vice-Minister of Ministry of Ocean and Fisheries.
Yeongseok Kim thanked the Church for all the efforts that the members put in for the free meal service after the Sewol ferry disaster that occurred on April 16th last year. He said that the members served meals without complaining, with smiles on their faces and with all their heart, which comforted many people. He also added that he will remember the members’ devotion and love forever.
General Pastor Joo-cheol Kim said that the members in various parts of the country participated for the neighbors and society with one mind, which was all done with Mother’s heart.
The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) also participated in the clean-up work for the oil leakage accident on the Taean coast, served free meals and helped out with restoration works in various places in Korea. At the site of the Sewol ferry disaster, at least 700 members served free meals for forty-four days to comfort the bereaved family members of the deceased and the other volunteers who participated there.
