How will the Holy City Jerusalem come down?

The Bible is a book of many prophecies. Among them, there are only a few that need fulfillment now. One prophecy that has become a reality in these days is in the book of Micah chapter 4 about Jerusalem.

Micah 4:1-2 In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

The location of the temple is Zion, the mountain of God. And the temple of God is Jerusalem.

It’s prophesied that so many people from many nations will stream to Zion, and go to Jerusalem temple to study the law of God and His way through the words of the Bible.

What is Zion?

Then, for this prophecy to be true in the last days, Zion must exist in the last days. What is Zion? Let’s check whether it is Zion or not, just in the case a person insists this Zion is a random place.

Isaiah 33:20 Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken.

Leviticus 23:1-44 The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies…
(The Sabbath, The Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Day of Firstfruits, The Feast of Weeks, The Feast of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement, The Feast of Tabernacles)…
So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed feasts of the Lord.

So “our festivals” from “Zion”, the city of our festivals means, the appointed feasts of the Lord.

At present is there a church like Zion? The answer is ‘yes’. It is only the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) that keeps God’s feasts.

Yes, it is the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG), prophesied as Zion in the last days, of which the growth and volunteer work are causing quite a commotion in the earth nowadays.

The condition that makes Zion, Zion

One more indispensable condition is not only the feasts, which makes Zion, but it is the fact that Jerusalem must be there. So the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG), clearly is Zion.

In Isaiah 33:22 what can you see in Zion? Jerusalem. However, even if you keep the feasts, if there is no Jerusalem, it is not Zion. And this Jerusalem should exist in the last days. Then what is Jerusalem?

Originally Jerusalem temple in ancient times was in the area which borders Palestine at present. After Rome destroyed Jerusalem in A.D. 70, no reconstruction has taken place until now. And on top of that, there is a mosque where Jerusalem temple should be.

The Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven

Now let’s talk about the prophetical and spiritual Jerusalem testified in the Bible, in the last days.

Revelation 21:9-10 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

Does the Heavenly Jerusalem mean the one on earth? Or does it stand for something else? The answer is in the Bible.

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

The Jerusalem that is above is in heaven, not on the earth.

And the Bible clearly says She is our Heavenly Mother.

What is a mother? In terms of family, she is the life-giver to her children. Heavenly Mother is the eternal life-giver to us. So, God promised us eternal life means that God promised to let us know Heavenly Mother and be Her children. So, in order for this promise to come true, our Heavenly Mother should come down from heaven wearing a physical body for us to be able to see and understand her.

The Children of God

Only through God the Mother can we be purified from sins and be the holy children of God. Who are they in this age? They are the very people in the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG). Because only the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) is Zion, which satisfies the necessary conditions – that Jerusalem and the feasts exist there. Heavenly Jerusalem, our God the Mother is teaching God’s way and is giving God’s words in Zion.

Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

Come to Zion. Come to Heavenly Mother.
