When we first hear the news or the contents of something, we often say, “that’s news to me,’ this means, ‘this is the first time I have heard of it.’
To the people living in the Middle Ages, the Copernican system must have literally been new to them; it must have been hard for those who believed the Ptolemaic system for such a long time to understand and finally accept it. However, if they had checked the words, “He suspends the earth over nothing”(Job 26), they might have believed what Galileo said.
The same thing is happening in this century; people have a fixed idea that God exists only as the Father, but God the Mother exists as well. To those whom this information is ‘new to them,’ it must be difficult for them, to understand. Nonetheless, if it is testified in the Bible, we should get rid of our own thoughts and rather accept it, which is the true faith.
Among many pastors from protestant churches, it is often heard that they have a tendency to boast of themselves insisting that they have read the Bible 200 times or 300 times. However, it is ironic to see them acknowledging God the Father but ridiculing and scorning God the Mother who is testified in Galatians 4:26 and in Revelation 22:17 where She is testified as the bride of the Spirit. Acting as if they have never heard of it before, they force themselves to hide their shocking response. Then, would the extensive reading of the Bible be for their personal ostentation?
Genesis 1:26~27 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,……So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Here, ‘us’ is written as ‘Elohim’ in Hebrew; it represents that God exists as more than one almighty being, just like ‘us’, a plural personal pronoun, in English. However, the truth about the trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit testifies to God the Father. We can assume that since God created male and female in the images of God, both God the Father in the male image and God the Mother in the female image, should exist.
Whether you believe in God the Mother or not is totally up to you. However, when we open the Bible, we can easily see them become furious with anger saying, “the ‘us’ here represents the Triune God.” Their attitude is what makes it hard for us to accept them or understand them as prophets who have faith in God.
To recognize the existence of God the Father and God the Mother, a very simple logic is applied. Even a little child is aware that his father and mother must exist. Likewise, we should also have a Father and a Mother who gave birth to our souls. Moreover, God put His will and divine nature into all things in the universe so that we are able to realize the existence of Father and Mother.
Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
Everybody knows that all creatures, animals and plants as well as fowls, fish and even microbes are able to grow and prosper because of the balance of both male and female. Then, what was God’s will that He projected on all living things? – It is the existence of Father and Mother. The reason why we cannot realize the existence of Father and Mother, which is something that even children are easily able to understand is not because the Bible is difficult but because they have no desire or intention to accept the truth or to receive Christ from the start.
If you have never thought about the existence of God the Mother and it is rather ‘news to you,’ then why don’t you make an effort to check it through the Bible with an earnest and humble mind as a true Christian?
